Award Winning Wedding Film, Television, and Web Media Production from Boston to Newport and the rest of Southern New England. Unique storytelling from storyboard to final edit. Our mission is to make our clients happy.

Our production services include scripting, storyboarding, shooting on location at your site, HD DSLR multi-camera production, original music, graphic design, editing, and delivery on USB or via the internet.
Since 1985, Video Excellence has satisfied our clients' video needs with award winning productions delivered on time and on budget.
Our production pricing is lower than most video production companies due to lower overhead and the ability to do most of our production tasks in-house.
RUSS DOUGHERTY

In 1985, Russ founded Video Excellence. He has received many awards for video production and his work has been seen on local and national television, as well as around the world. From 1991 to 1993, Russ was co-Creator, Producer and Director of Dr. Mongo's Midnight Movie, a weekly television show on FOX Providence. In 2010 - 2011, Russ and the Video Excellence team produced "UnReal Deal", a product placement style television show featured weekly on NBC10 Providence.
For over thirty years, Video Excellence has been widely recognized for events and corporate video production all over New England. Russ enjoys what he does and his style is polished and professional. He knows the importance of listening and meeting his client’s needs for both production and budget.
In his spare time, he is an avid film enthusiast and loves to cook.
GAIL DOUGHERTY
Business & Marketing Manager
In 2001, Gail left the corporate world and joined her husband Russ to manage Video Excellence. Throughout her tenure, she has excelled at keeping organization and communications between our clients and the company her top priority.
Gail oversees many aspects of the business including planning and coordinating video productions, administration services, maintaining our website, and marketing through social media.
In her free time, Gail enjoys browsing vintage shops.
